At The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics Orthopaedic Associates of Central Maryland Division, we prioritize providing personalized care tailored to each patient's unique needs. We recognize that surgery is not always the first or only solution for orthopedic conditions. That is why we offer a comprehensive range of non-operative care options, also known as alternative therapies, designed to address orthopedic pain and injuries effectively. Our commitment to patient-centered care means exploring every avenue to alleviate discomfort, restore function, and enhance quality of life.

Our non-operative care options are suitable for a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including arthritis, tendonitis, sprains and strains, bursitis, rotator cuff injuries, meniscus tears, ligament injuries, and more. By addressing these conditions with non-operative approaches, we aim to provide effective relief and improve the overall quality of life for our patients.

Non-Operative Treatments

At The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics Orthopaedic Associates of Central Maryland Division, we recognize that surgery is not always the immediate solution for orthopedic conditions. Our non-operative treatments, also known as alternative therapies, offer effective options for managing orthopedic pain and injuries.

Physical Therapy

Our comprehensive physical therapy programs are tailored to each patient's specific needs, aiming to improve mobility, strength, and function. With a focus on therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, our physical therapy sessions help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. We emphasize patient education and empowerment to facilitate long-term recovery and prevent future injuries.

Durable Medical Equipment

In addition to therapeutic interventions, we provide durable medical equipment (DME) to support patients in their recovery journey. From braces and splints to assistive devices like crutches and walkers, DME aids in mobility, stability, and comfort during rehabilitation and daily activities.

Orthotics and Assistive Devices

Orthotics, such as shoe inserts and braces, offer support and alignment for joints affected by injury or deformity. Custom orthotics can correct biomechanical issues and alleviate pain associated with conditions like plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, and arthritis. Our specialists assess each patient's needs and prescribe appropriate orthotic devices to optimize function and mobility.
