Susan Sia, PT
Susan Sia earned her Bachelor degree in Physical Therapy from Emilio Aguinaldo College, Philippines in 1999. Looking for a successful future for herself and her family, she migrated to the United States in 2004. Before she joined Mid-Atlantic Sports Therapy and Rehab in May 2022, she was working as an outpatient physical therapist in many different locations in the states of New York, Maryland, and Colorado. She was then given an opportunity to work with patients of all ages specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine. She has brought her 19 years of experience in the United States helping patients reach their highest level of independent functioning.
Susan Sia is a certified kinesiotape practitioner. She also earned continuing education in Trigger Point Therapy, and other manual therapy techniques. She completed post-secondary training in rehabilitation of postsurgical orthopedic patients involving the shoulder, hip, and knee, and attended a seminar for an evidenced-based exercise application for the aging adult. She enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions and always believes that treating every patient with compassion is a substantial factor for quality healthcare.
Outside of work, Susan enjoys spending time with her family and friends. You can also find her traveling and enjoying the outdoors.
