Helia Lankarani, PA-C
As a physician assistant to Dr. Ralph Zade, Helia is committed to providing patient-centered care. She believes in treating each patient uniquely, focusing on their specific needs and goals. Helia understands that every patient’s recovery is a personal journey with its timeline. Her goal is to optimize that journey by offering the best treatment options and making decisions with the patient.
Her journey at OACM began with her role as a medical scribe, working alongside high-volume surgeons for two years. It was during this time that her passion for orthopedics was ignited and has only grown stronger since. Now, as a certified physician assistant, Helia is deeply committed to providing the best care to her patients and serving her community.
As a proud Maryland native, she has a deep connection to this community. Helia grew up here in Central Maryland, attended the University of Maryland College Park as an undergrad (go Terps!), and received her Bachelor’s in Public Health Science. She continued her education at PA School at Frostburg State University out in Western Maryland. Helia is honored to be back at OACM, serving the same community that shaped her.
Helia currently lives in Howard County, and in her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, traveling, and attending any Maryland sporting events.
