Genesis Sandoval, OT
Genesis Sandoval pursued a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Science at the University of Maryland, College Park. Through this program, she gained a solid foundation in injury prevention and health promotion, access to care and health equity, workplace health and ergonomics, as well as data collection and research. This background in public health has allowed her to approach healthcare holistically, understanding the broader determinants that impact patient outcomes and well-being.
Following her passion for patient-centered care, Genesis earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Lincoln Memorial University in Knoxville, Tennessee. During her doctoral studies, she partnered with an outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Rockville, MD, where she focused on developing client-centered patient education. This experience provided her with hands-on expertise in treating upper extremity conditions, further expanding her skills in rehabilitation while ensuring that patient education remained a core element of the care process.
Genesis is dedicated to providing tailored, evidence-based interventions that help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. She is committed to delivering compassionate care that addresses the unique needs of each individual. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog.
