The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics Associates of Central Maryland Division accepts most insurance plans, Medicaid, Medicare, and workers' compensation. Please contact your insurance company or click on the "message us" button at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen to see right away if we accept your insurance plan. You may also call our office at (410) 644-1880.

If your insurance plan requires you to pay a co-payment, co-insurance, and/or a deductible, you will need to pay at the time of your visit. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express for your convenience.

For your ease, you may pay your bill online. If you have a question related to your bill or insurance, please contact our billing specialists by clicking on the "message us" button at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen or call us at (410) 644-1880.

If your insurance is an HMO/managed care plan and you are required to obtain a referral from your primary care physician, the referral must be obtained before you can be seen for an office visit.

Please coordinate this with your primary care physician in advance. Appointments will be rescheduled if required referrals are not received in the office by the time of your visit.

Prescriptions and refills for established patients of The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics Associates of Central Maryland Division are routinely issued during our regular office hours (see your preferred location’s office hours). You can make your request by clicking on the "message us" button at the bottom right-hand corner to get a reply right away or by calling our office at (410) 644-1880.

No refills are issued during the evenings, weekends, or holidays, as the doctors do not have access to your medical records during those times. It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy.

If you have an urgent need outside our regular office hours, please call (410) 644-1880. A doctor is on call 24 hours a day.

For minor acute orthopedic injuries, you can visit one of our orthopedic-only after-hours care locations (OACM After Hours). OACM After Hours Columbia is open Monday through Fridays from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and OACM After Hours Catonsville is open Fridays from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. PLEASE ARRIVE 30 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING.

You can call ahead at (443) 524-2577 to let us know you need to be seen. This is NOT an appointment; it is only a heads-up. Note: This line is only answered starting at 4:00 PM. If you need to reach the practice, please contact us at (410) 644-1880.

In the event of a life-threatening medical emergency, call emergency medical services at 911 immediately. DO NOT WAIT! Inform the emergency room staff that you are a patient of The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics Associates of Central Maryland Division, and they will contact us.
