The number of treatments you need to achieve desired results will vary depending on the type and severity of your condition. Acute conditions typically require six treatments every other day, while chronic conditions may necessitate up to ten sessions.

Each treatment session lasts for less than 15 minutes and is entirely painless and comfortable. Treatment durations may vary depending on the number of areas being treated.

Before your laser procedure, we recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. If necessary, we provide gowns or shorts for your convenience.

• Ensure that the treatment area is thoroughly cleaned before your appointment.
• Refrain from applying topical creams, lotions, or analgesic balms before or immediately after treatment.
• Wear approved safety goggles, unless instructed otherwise by the technician, particularly if lying face down away from the laser light.
• Avoid wearing jewelry or any shiny objects (watches, bracelets, chains, etc.) near the treatment area during the procedure.

Following the procedure, many patients experience immediate relief, with a comfortable sensation during the application. The benefits of laser therapy are cumulative, meaning improvement is expected as you progress through your treatment plan. Completing the full course of treatment is essential to prevent symptoms from recurring.

MLS laser therapy is cleared for clinical use by the FDA, but insurance typically does not cover the cost of this procedure. To make this treatment more accessible to those suffering from pain, we have priced it affordably. Each treatment session costs $80, with packages available for convenience:

Laser therapy should not be performed under the following conditions:

• On an area injected with steroids in the past 2-3 weeks
• If you are taking anticoagulants
• If you are taking medication known to increase sensitivity to sunlight
• If you have a seizure disorder triggered by light
• If you are pregnant
• If you suspect you are carrying a serious infectious disease where it is advisable to suppress heat or fever
• If you have an HIV-positive history
• Over an area of hemorrhagic diathesis
• Over a suspicious area of potentially or known cancerous tissue
• Over an area that can cause active hemorrhage
• Over the thoracic area if the patient uses a pacemaker
• Over the sympathetic ganglia
• Over the Vagus nerve
• Over the neck (thyroid or carotid sinus region)
• Over or near bone growth centers until bone growth is complete
• Over an area where analgesia may mask progressive pathology
• Over anesthetic areas
• Over an area of the spinal cord following a laminectomy, i.e., when major covering tissue have been removed
• On ischemic tissue where the blood supply would be unable to follow the increase in metabolic demand, tissue necrosis might result
