As a direct result of your diligent effort across three decades, Orthopaedic Associates of Central Maryland has not only grown, but flourished. You’ve have been such an important part of OACM for 29 years, and your example will continue to inspire us in the future. You will always be held in high regard as a committed professional and a caring physician who always showed warmth and appreciation to your patients, colleagues, and staff.
Dr. Emad Zeitouneh is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with more than 32 years of experience. Dr. Zeitouneh provides general orthopaedic care and international orthopaedic care. Previously, he provided sports team consultation for the Baltimore Ravens and for the Baltimore Blast soccer team. His areas of orthopaedic specialty include:
- General orthopaedics
- International orthopaedic medicine
- Sports medicine
- Nonoperative orthopaedics
Dr. Zeitouneh earned his medical degree and completed a rotating internship at the Alexandria University medical school in Alexandria, Egypt. He completed his general surgical residency at MedStar Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore.
In addition, Dr. Zeitouneh performed two fellowships: he completed a sports medicine fellowship at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and an orthopaedic surgery fellowship at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Dr. Zeitouneh is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American College of Sports Medicine.
